Firecracker notes

Firecracker is the debut album from Katie Chastain.

It was recorded over the course of a year in New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Martha’s vineyard, Belfast, Bourenmouth, & London.

Instruments used include a trumpet, a piano, a pianet, a french horn, drums, electric and double bass, a vibraphone, electric, acoustic and safety-pin guitars, a hammond organ, an udu, a cello, norwegian bells & percussion, a pedal steel guitar, an accordion, and a synthesizer.

Also, a nail dragging around a drillbit hole cutter, crunching paper, beans swirling around the lid from a wok, flipping book pages, a washing machine and dryer (used as drums), trashcan drums, an electronic tazer, shaking metal sheets, a vellum comb, opening window shades, a toy piano, a music box, and her voice.
